Brianna Pena played varsity softball for LaPorte High School where she earned first-team and second-team all district awards, accompanying the team to playoffs each year. She also played for BreakAway Softball from the ages of 15 to 18.
Brianna committed to Trinity University (San Antonio, TX) her senior year where she played middle infield, outfield, and pitched from years 2017-2022. During her time at Trinity, Brianna was a 2-time SCAC player of the week, earned All-SCAC academic honors, All-Sportsmanship team in 2020, All-SCAC honorable mention in 2019 and 2022, and was an NFCA Scholar All-American in 2022. She also holds the Trinity single season record for most doubled in a single season since 2019. Brianna graduated from Trinity University in 2021 with a B.S. in Accounting and received her M.S. in Accounting in 2022.
Brianna has since moved back to Houston where she works in tax and is excited to help others develop their softball skills and learn more about the game.
